We're engineers and we're building our passion.
We are currently pursuing a job in the engineering field but our dream is to embark on a journey to transform innovative ideas into impactful business. As we transition from engineering to entrepreneurship, we bring a unique perspective and a passion for innovation that drives us to create value in handicraft industry. In 2018, we pursued a social enterprise and a lifestyle business. We halted the social enterprise as we accepted that the world was also halted due to the pandemic. As the business started again, we are also aiming to continue our social enterprise soon.
We offer handcrafted crocheted products from locally-sourced raw materials. We are also an advocate of eco-friendly and sustainable practices and materials.
We are driven by a desire to see our ideas come to life and make a tangible difference in the world.
About Us
I learned crocheting back in elementary days. I find it interesting how I can make a gift out of yarns. In high school, I would make a bag or a small purse without any pattern but a simple single or double crochet piled up.
Fast forward to 2017, I quit my engineering career and started our small business. My husband was very supportive and he personally created a prototype of a tassel-making machine ~ you read that right, he made a rustic-looking machine. We were very hands-on and we tried to help the community as much as we could.
Circumstances changed when pandemic hit and we need to return to engineering field. We were blessed to be able to work until now. In 2023, I was pregnant and I crocheted my baby’s clothes, shoes, toys etc. Every time I saw the joy my creations brought, the idea of turning my passion into a business grew stronger again.
Starting a crocheted business involves creativity, dedication, and a willingness to connect with customers. Our story illustrates how passion and perseverance can lead to a fulfilling and beautiful entrepreneurial journey.
